Day One of Giving Thanks.

Is it nerdy of me to start off my very first thankful post by saying I am thankful for books? I figured I could start small and gradually grow larger.

Books have helped be through the most arduous of times; as well as some of the most joyful times. To me, books put into words what I wish life could be, and what sometimes it is. Books color my imagination. Whether it’s a magazine, a poetry volume, a collection of short stories, or a novel, I cannot go a day without reading something.

One of the books I am utterly thankful for is my Bible, which I do read everyday. Some people may not know this, but the Bible has some of the most beautiful poetry in all of humanity. I am always blown away by how preserved the Bible has stayed after all these years.
